Steve Jobs was an American businessman most famous for his co-founding of Apple. This quote proves that design isn’t just a tactile or aesthetic thing, but actually functional. Apple products are designed with the end user in mind. The ease of the user, the simplicity of navigation around its apps and the physical feel of the product.

The idea can be applied to home renovation as well. Eg. when designing a kitchen layout, one must not only consider the looks but also the functionality of the kitchen, the flow of the work space layout and the ease of accessing the designed storage areas.
